Terms and Conditions

Group Classes

  • Please note that your place on the group course is only secure once you have paid the course fee in full, and payment must be received prior to the course starting. If you turn up to a class having not paid in full, there is no guarantee there will be a space for you. If this is the case, you will be offered 121s or a space on the next course.

  • PerfectPups aims to ensure that all dogs booking onto the course are suitable. If your dog has any behavioural problems then you must disclose this for discussion with PerfectPups prior to booking a place so that we can assess the most appropriate service for you and your dog.

  • Monies paid may not be carried over to any other service unless there are exceptional circumstances and this is at the discretion of PerfectPups.

  • Refunds may only be considered where another customer is found to take your place. If cancellation is within 48 hours or less of the start date no refund or transfer of fees to another service will be given.

  • Refunds in exceptional circumstances will be considered at the absolute discretion of PerfectPups.

  • In the event of your dog coming into season you must not attend class until this has finished. You may be offered a place on the next course depending on timings. Alternatively, additional catch up sessions may be able to be arranged in your own home (or virtually) to replace the missed weeks. This may be subject to additional fees at the discretion of PerfectPups.

  • If you do not attend a class, you will lose that session, and cannot catch-up with extra sessions at a later date unless this has been previously agreed.

  • If the class is cancelled by PerfectPups (e.g. trainer holidays, illness, bank holidays etc.) then these classes will be made up so that no training weeks are missed. Clients will be informed of any cancelled sessions as soon as possible.

  • PerfectPups reserves the right to ask a dog to be removed from a class environment if they believe that it is of detriment to the dog's welfare, or that they are a danger to any other dog/client/staff/volunteer. In these circumstances, if appropriate, then 1-2-1 sessions may be offered.

  • Dogs attending class must wear a flat collar with correct identification - this will be explained in the handouts given to you and in the first week of the course. Aversive training tools such as check chains, half-check collars, prong collars or vibration/spray/shock collars will not be permitted. Slip leads are also not appropriate. Harnesses are preferred where possible and appropriate for the dog.

  • PerfectPups reserves the right to ask an owner to use different equipment for their dog (including, but not limited to: muzzles, collars, harnesses and leads) if the current equipment is detrimental to the dog's welfare or the dog is deemed to be out of control or dangerous without taking such action.

  • All staff and volunteers of PerfectPups reserve the right to work without fear of harm, physical abuse or verbal abuse. Any such behaviour will not be tolerated and that person will be asked to leave immediately. No refund or transfer of fees to another service will be given.
